NY Jets' Darrelle Revis scores on big interception return, holds Dolphins' Brandon Marshall in check

If anybody was frightened by Brandon Marshall's vow to play like a monster, it wasn't Darrelle Revis. The Jets' cornerback embraced the challenge of playing opposite the self-proclaimed beast, and then robbed his Halloween candy.

Despite the incompetence of Miami quarterback Matt Moore that provided the Jets with a lifeline when their offense was sputtering and couldn't muster a first down, the team was struggling until Revis returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown. "I just made one cut and it was wide open," Revis said of his first touchdown since 2009. "An 18-wheeler could ride through it. I just kept running and nobody came near me."

With Miami threatening to take a 10-0 lead midway through the first quarter - and after the MetLife Stadium crowd booed the stagnant Jets - Marshall stumbled upon contact with Revis during a route to the end zone.

The difference through the first three quarters was Revis' touchdown and his lockdown defending against Marshall.

Four days after declaring he was ready to get ejected from Monday night's game, Marshall managed six catches for 109 yards - including a 46-yard grab in the first quarter on which he had a clear path to the end zone and curiously stumbled out of bounds.
